Crew
Meet Fernando, also known as “Niño,” a Guna indigenous with 17 years of experience working with San Blas Sailing. He is eager to share his knowledge and love of the islands and the Guna people, including their customs and culture. Fluent in Guna and Spanish, Fernando also has basic English skills and is assisted by his son, Liebert.
Alisa, a 26-year-old Emberá Native, is the talented chef on board. She prepares delicious meals using the catch of the day, which may include lobsters and giant crabs, as well as meat, vegetables, and tropical fruits. Alisa’s culinary skills will add an extra layer of enjoyment to your trip as you savor the flavors of the region’s local cuisine.
